    Overview

    The Digital Designer supports our marketing and communications team, with the primary responsibility of coordinating, designing, and implementing The Durst Organization’s marketing materials for a wide range of corporate and leasing requirements including: brand collateral, prospective commercial and residential tenant presentations, display, advertisements, digital communications, and product branding.

    Responsibilities

    • Design and produce assets for websites, social media, digital advertising, email campaigns and email templates, working with an in-house developer • Resize digital advertising from established creative campaigns
    • Design and update HTML/CSS coding of email templates and assets
    • Ensure brand consistency across all digital materials
    • Create elevator and video wall screens promoting the Durst brand to tenants
    • Collaborate with Leasing and Marketing on customizing templated leasing presentations
    • Manage corporate image library
    • Collaborate with marketing and IT teams on updates and maintenance of all desktop and mobile websites
    • Work with internal and external developers to ensure aesthetics are aligned with both the brand and digital best practices
    • Provide design support to other departments, creating internal forms, PowerPoint presentations, event materials, etc
    • Other duties as assigned

     

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in digital design, graphic design, graphic communications or related field
    • Minimum 5 years professional design experience, preferably at a design agency or in-house creative department
    • Experience designing for both commercial and residential real estate
    • Able to present concepts and collaborate with internal teams to achieve business goals
    • Strong portfolio showing solutions to business problems through effective design
    • Experience in web marketing/web design with a strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, Photoshop, web design and development principles
    • Strong work ethic and personal accountability
    • Self-starter with excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
    • Ability to juggle multiple projects and pivot when priorities shift
    • Expert in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator and Adobe Acrobat DC in particular) and proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
    • Knowledge and understanding of current trends in digital and social media
    • Have the ability to think quickly and accurately, be able to evaluate problems and make appropriate recommendations to team or people involved
