    The Analyst fulfills a critical function by performing financial analyses, conducting relevant

    market research and completing associated projects that inform the decision-making processes

    for the company’s core lines of business such as: development, leasing, financing, and Real

    Estate acquisitions.


    The Analyst initiates these analyses by working cooperatively with various interdisciplinary

    company teams and external partners. The Analyst carries out assignments under the direction

    and guidance of a Senior Analyst. Additionally, the Analyst is assigned other related duties to gain a comprehensive understanding of the development process. As a member of the Analyst group, the Analyst must possess well-developed interpersonal and communication skills which are vital to the collective efforts of the team, and interactions with the company’s Senior Managers.




    • Acquisitions/Development/Financing:


      • Perform necessary market research
      • Determine project feasibility and prepare pro forma analyses of potential projects
      • Determine equity and debt requirements
      • Establish capital and operating budgets
      • Calculate project rates of return and other pertinent financial metrics
      • Complete revenue and/ or expense sensitivity analyses
      • Assist with proposal and bid preparation for potential acquisitions/financing packages
      • Assist in the performance of due diligence for potential acquisitions/financing packages.
      • Provide assistance in responding to requests for information from both internal and external sources regarding new acquisitions/financing
    • Leasing:
      • Maintain building stacking plans
      • Examine lease proposals to determine net effective rents and other pertinent negotiations in an extremely competitive market.
      • Expeditious completion of analyses is crucial for response to evolving
      • Prepare and disseminate vital reports on a timely basis
      • Provide summary reports of existing building performance
      • Compare existing building performance with market behavio
      • Create, modify, and maintain Argus Models for the building’s commercial portfolio
      • Update monthly leasing activity report including building vacancy rates and portfolio rollover



    • Bachelor’s Degree in Real Estate Development, Economics, or Business is strongly preferred
    • Advanced proficiency in software applications including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint, as well as Argus.
    • Competency in constructing and editing discounted cash flow in Excel and Argus
    • Experience with development models and affordable housing programs preferred.
    • Experience in analyzing office lease proposals and calculating net effective rents
    • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
    • Effective oral and written communication skills and ability to translate the mathematical results of an analysis into an easily digestible verbal or written summary for Senior Executives
