    The Director of Residential Leasing is responsible for revenue management of the existing rental portfolio, providing marketing efforts for new projects and supervision of the leasing staff.




    • Management of Leasing Managers and oversight of the entire Leasing team at multiple residential properties
    • Standardizing the leasing experience portfolio wide
      • Tour presentation, closing and follow up
      • Recognition of services and professional onsite team
      • Coordinate cyclical fair housing training/certifications, etc.
    • Rent Moderation and Optimization for the portfolio
    • Auditing lease paperwork for accuracy in MRI
    • Transitioning the leasing commission structure and monthly incentive programs
    • Reporting-market comps & research, closing ratios, occupancy, etc.
    • Maintain and uphold all fair housing regulations across the Durst residential portfolio

    Marketing Existing Buildings and New Construction–

    • Oversight of online marketing campaign for all aggregate sites like streeteasy,, craigslist,, etc.
    • Control and oversight of Social Media sites such YELP!,, Google, etc.
    • Collaborating with programmers and in-house team to maximize SEO AND SEM strategies to remain relevant and enhance organic SEO.
    • Involvement in social media campaign: Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, etc.
    • Ensuring website availability matches listings
    • Marketing/Advertising- broker, web traffic and creative incentive programs
    • Corporate Rentals-block lease deals for major corporations
    • Preferred Employer Program-Soliciting HR departments at major corporations
    • Renewal Follow up (including pricing)
    • Responsible for annual revenue budgeting
    • Creation of leasing incentive programs, commission structures and contests
    • Marketing New Construction by collaborating with internal team members and outside contractors to create brand identity, marketing collateral, photography, website design, renderings, floorplan design, ect.



    • Bachelor’s Degree
    • 10+ years’ experience in a position with similar responsibilities
    • Salesperson License Required
    • Comparable urban market experience in or similar to New York City
    • Excellent communication skills both written and orally
    • Dynamic leader and motivator through creative methods
    • Ability to work a forty (40) hour schedule, which may include weekends
    • Working knowledge of Rent Stabilization Code, Housing Maintenance Code, DHCR and HPD requirements and Fair Housing Laws
