    Overview

    The position shall perform all aspects of the leasing process including scheduling, touring, qualifying and preparing all required paperwork for prospects and applicants.

    Responsibilities

    • Highly accessible to prospects, brokers and applicants during the leasing process
    • Effective presentation skills during property tours
    • Tenancious follow up and tour leasing skills
    • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks
    • Promote 1st class operation demonstrated by exemplifying integrity, courtesy and professionalism
    • Meticulous organization skills as it pertains to leasing files and paperwork
    • Accurately generate and recieve prospect and applicant information for entry into Onsite, MRI, Buildinglink or any other software platform 
    • Track all traffic and phone call activity and complete industry or building metric reports, as required
    • Scheduling signing of all related paperwork associated with new leases
    • Replenish new deal folders, prospect welcome folders, floor plans, application documents and other collateral as needed
    • Process construction complaints, submit work orders and amenity reservations in Building Link, interpret and authorize liability insurance from movers or venders and effectively address resident inquiries
    • Promote amenity reservations prior to lease signing and facilitate Bike and Storage agreements
    • Update and maintain weekly online advertising and broker outreach
    • Daily inspection of tour paths, leasing office, amenties, vacant apartments and common areas. Communicate work orders to maintenance staff.
    • Build rapport with residents in the community
    • Timely complete projects and other assignments as directed by Leasing Manager

    Qualifications

    • Strong understanding of the New York Real Estate Rental Market
    • Exceptional customer service, interpersonal and problem resolution skills
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skill
    • Baccalaureate degree in business administration or related field
    • Ability to interact effectively with diverse groups
    • Ability to work independently and in team settings
    • Strong time management skills
    • Possess high level of attention to detail
    • Maintains a professional demeanor
    • New York State Real Estate Salesperson License
    • Amiable demeanor with strong sales aptitude
    • Maintains a professional demeanor 
    • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
    • Fundamental knowledge of company history, brand and  unique characteristics of the building
    • Ability to work weekends, as directed or required 
    • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks
