    Overview

    The receptionist welcomes guests to the company, announces them to the appropriate individual(s) and/or directs them to the appropriate meeting/conference room. The receptionist answers the phone and directs calls to the proper individual(s). Assist other key executives when their administrative support is unavailable. The receptionist also performs various administrative duties for the company.

    Responsibilities

    • Meet and greet guests
    • Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize
    • Direct all telephone calls to their respective areas
    • Train all temporary receptionists and General Admins to handle telephone
    • Arrange conference room bookings, facilitate guest entry, and enforce proper protocols
    • Communicate with mailroom and conference room coordinators to ensure prompt turnover of rooms.
    • Provide telephone coverage for administrators who step away from their desks
    • Provides callers with information such as company address, directions to the company location, company fax numbers, company website and other related information.
    • Maintain a position of special trust within the company by handling confidential and non-routine information
    • Perform other related duties as required and assigned

    Qualifications

    • High School diploma or equivalent required
    • Must have previous receptionist experience in a corporate setting
    • Must have excellent communication and organizational skills
    • Strong collaboration skills
    • Handle high volume of phone calls
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
    • Detail Oriented
    • Flexibility regarding work assignment and location
