Overview

The entry level Staff Accountant will support the Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable lifecycles of the Company with opportunity for growth within the Accounting Department.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure accurate input of tenant billings, charges, credits, and tenant lease information into the financial system
  • Prepare periodic reports in a timely manner
  • Record cash receipts for tenants and general activity
  • Verify invoice accuracy, record and pay bills using accounting software
  • Reconcile vendor or tenant statements
  • Reconcile bank statements and tenant security account maintenance
  • Reconcile reports to the general ledger
  • Prepare supporting schedules for supervising Accountant

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required (recent college graduates are encouraged to apply)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Database applications
  • Competent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills, analytic skills, and attention to details
  • Ability to work independently

Salary range: $70,000 - $85,000 annually
