Overview
The entry level Staff Accountant will support the Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable lifecycles of the Company with opportunity for growth within the Accounting Department.
Responsibilities
Ensure accurate input of tenant billings, charges, credits, and tenant lease information into the financial system
Prepare periodic reports in a timely manner
Record cash receipts for tenants and general activity
Verify invoice accuracy, record and pay bills using accounting software
Reconcile vendor or tenant statements
Reconcile bank statements and tenant security account maintenance
Reconcile reports to the general ledger
Prepare supporting schedules for supervising Accountant
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required (recent college graduates are encouraged to apply)
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Database applications
Competent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational skills, analytic skills, and attention to details
Ability to work independently
Salary range: $70,000 - $85,000 annually
