The Architectural Associate will undertake discrete tasks and long term assignments in the support of a development project or projects, and will fulfill many of the management and day-to-day activities necessary for the advancement of development projects throughout all project phases. The Architectural Associate will work integrally with department leadership on analysis, assessment, compliance, recordkeeping, quality assurance, and/or consultant oversight in accordance with the needs of a project at various stages of development, including construction visits.
The Director of Construction manages a team of project managers and project associates to ensure success of all construction projects at The Durst Organization (the “Company”). The Director establishes and maintains enduring relationships both internally and externally. The Director coaches and develops department employees to ensure that high quality work and productivity standards are achieved and maintained.
The Engineering Manager position will act in a technical capacity to ensure the best confluence of cost, design, efficiency, and operational goals. The Engineering Manager must efficiently resolve operational issues based on field observations and feedback from various instrumentation systems, and methodically and effectively disseminate broad technical concepts to individuals with varying backgrounds.
The Leasing Manager is responsible, under the supervision of the Director of Residential Leasing, for setting the pricing and leasing of apartments, monitoring leasing activities for the site, and the accurate tracking of leasing data and completion of leasing and marketing (traffic and sources) reports in compliance with all company policies and procedures. In addition, the Leasing Manager will oversee the leasing activities of the leasing associates assigned to the building and assist, support, and cover for the Leasing Managers in the portfolio.
The Project Manager plays a central and highly visible role in the advancement and delivery of one or more projects. The Project Manager either directly manages specific projects or assists in the management of large and complex projects. The Project Manager is involved in all day-to-day activities throughout all project phases to assure that quality, time, and cost are all in line with project objectives. The Project Manager must conform to a standard for excellent organizational and communication abilities, and possess the ability to draw upon a thorough understanding of the development process in order to define and execute processes. This position will coordinate with tenants whenever appropriate, to ensure timely and safe completion of all aspects of projects. The Project Manager may oversee direct reports and consultants, as well as collaborate with the Project Manager of the Construction Department.
