The Durst Organization is hiring for three Assistant Chief Engineers for One Bryant Park, 1133 Avenue of Americas, and 825 Third Avenue. All applicants will be considered for all openings. |   | The Assistant Chief Engineer is responsible for planning, organizing and directing the activities of the engineering department staff in coordination with the Chief Engineer and Property Manager. The Assistant Chief Engineer is responsible for investigating, estimating, planning and scheduling labor and materials for all operational and capital projects. Administering maintenance service contracts in conformance with established policies, procedures, and regulations of the Durst Organization Management Standards. Additionally, manages and implements engineering efficient work policies, procedures and PM programs. In addition, measures the Engineering Department work performance and provides recommendations for improvements that will benefit the asset in cost savings and work standards. The Manager maintains relations with the property managers and outside consultants or vendors contracted by the facility.

The Security Manager will collaborate with the Director of Security to ensure the safety of employees, tenants and visitors throughout the organization. He/she will identify security initiatives and work to constantly update security guidelines and procedures. The Security Manager will maintain oversight for security supervisors, as well as, security officers and will physically patrol portfolio properties ensuring the safety of portfolio buildings and tenants. Further, the Security Manager will assist in the management of company response to natural and manmade disasters. |   | SHIFT: 7 AM - 3 PM. Friday and Saturdays Off.

In addition to typing and filing, answers correspondence and assembles confidential information.  The Administrative Assistant interacts with a diverse group of internal and external clients at all levels of the Company.  Independent judgment is required to plan, prioritize, and organize a diversified workload to ensure the highest value and best services are provided.

Overview
The Director of Project Design Management plays a key role in the Company’s Development Projects. The Director will continually assess Project Design needs and marshal internal and external resources to achieve the Company’s design objectives. The Director will manage direct reports and collaborate with internal department leaders and their team members to ensure that all aspects required by the design process are appropriately staffed. The Director will also oversee the management of external design consultants and is responsible for their performance. The Director will participate throughout various development processes including acquisition, entitlement, design, construction and turnover. However, the Director will be focused primarily on the design process and is responsible for the success of that process. The Director must have extensive experience in assessing and organizing the design efforts of multiple concurrent projects and should have significant experience with the design of ground-up new development projects as well as close familiarity with approval and permitting processes. Responsibilities of the director include but are not limited to: 1) advising and participating in pre-acquisition due diligence including responding to RFPs, 2) leading conceptual design processes, 3) directing the design process, 4) overseeing the management of design consultants 5) management of direct reports in the oversight and QA/QC of the design documents, 6) participating in the bid and procurement and 7) oversight of the shop drawing process. |   | The position requires mastery of design and design processes as well as an innate ability to assess and marshal the exact resources needed to effectively and efficiently complete these processes. The individual must be very skilled at running effective team meetings with multiple disciplines. The individual is expected to be highly organized and independent, to have strong and proactive problem-solving skills, and to demonstrate effective leadership skills with clear verbal and written communication abilities.

The Certification Specialist will work with the Compliance Team within the Residential Leasing and Operations Department. This position provides administrative support relating to all aspects of occupancy and is predominately responsible for the qualification of new residents and the annual recertification process in accordance to governing agency guidelines. The Residential Collections Associate has the primary responsibility to support the work of the Collections Team. S/he will be responsible for maintaining accurate resident records, reconciliation of residents’ accounts including the sub-metered electric accounts, past resident accounts and develop effective relationships to resolve delinquent accounts. The Command Center of OWTC is the nerve center of One World Trade Center (OWTC) Security operation, having the ability to monitor all surveillance cameras, access control systems, the ability to communicate clearly with staff through a base station mobile radio, as well as hard line telephone and internet access. The Command Center (CC) staffing usually consists of a minimum of two Security Officers (SO) and one Security Supervisor or Manager. Under the guidance and direction of the Supervisor, these SOs perform multiple tasks described in a separate memorandum. The following duties and responsibilities are expected of, and performed by the Command Center Security Supervisor: |   | The Command Center Security Supervisor is responsible for the efficiency and effectiveness of the Command Center which has an enormous impact on the ability of Security at OWTC to accomplish its mission. The Command Center, as its name implies, is the center of all Security activity within the building. Nothing of a security nature or impact occurs in the building without Command Center involvement. The Supervisor that is assigned to this essential operation must have the experience, knowledge and judgment to quickly assess a developing situation for appropriate notifications and action. The Supervisor must understand security’s role in an effective respond to situations in commercial building operations. Security at OWTC must be effective and efficient without adversely impacting tenant relations and their ability to enjoy the benefits of their leased space. |   | SHIFT:  3:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
